This Vor-Tec fabric is a 3 layered laminated fabric with taslon outer and nylon mesh lining, laminated to the micro-porous Vor-Tec membrane.
The layering construction serves two purposes. It protects the Vor-Tec membrane from abrasion and wear and dissipates body moisture over a large area. The micro-porous membrane has two features: it allows perpiration to escape through the pores in the membrane without allowing water in and also acts as a wind breaker.
